read the instructions...duh..jk!!!heheIf I spray brush killer around a pecan tree ,will it harm the tree ?
it is imperative that you read the label on the product - there are many different brands with completely different chemicals in them. ';Roundup'; , claims it will not contaminate the soil, but if you spray poison of this type on plant material and its roots are touching the root of a plant you do not wish to kill, it may die anyway. I would stand against the tree and spray outward, away from it, even if the label says it will not contaminate the soil. The trees roots will extend outward just as far as the branches above.
Better yet, use a gasoline weed eater or a pruner to clear a circle and create a safe zone before you begin to spray.
if ur talking about round up it will
I'd be very careful and not get any herbicide on the tree or very much on the ground around the tree. Only on the foliage of the plants you intend to kill.. Then your pecan tree should be safe.
nope
use organic
ABSOLUTELY !!!!!!!! would you use it on your vegetable plants ?The roots will absorb the poison and It will effect the pecans. The squirrels and other animals that eat these,IT WILL KILL THEM.NOT to mention If you eat any.Use mulch It helps to keep down weeds.
If the tree is fairly old (robust), it should be just fine.
no
