my tooth is very sore right now.....i got my root canal yesterday, and i haven't been able to brush my teeth since yesterday morning....omg they feel so gross. Well before i left the dentistry yesterday, i gargled w/ water and he told me not to gargle so hard because my feeling still has to settle in...i got a feeling also. so if i brush my teeth, well this tooth, will my feeling fall out?....After an Root Canal Surgery, is it possible for me to still brush my teeth?
YOU SHOULD BRUSH AND THIS WILL NOT REMOVE OR DAMAGE THE FILLING AT ALL.After an Root Canal Surgery, is it possible for me to still brush my teeth?
yes brush your teeth, the thing the dentist used as your filling is a substance that hardens with saliva and time, not with the UV light(blue light) so he told you to let it set in for a while after that you could do what ever you did before, eventhough it would be sore for about 2-3 days, today your filling is hard and its almost as strong as a tooth, your fillling will not fall out because its already in place
It's a filling and yes it is ok to brush, a filling will not fall out unless something is wrong with it then you want it to fall out in that case.
offcorse i asked the dentist the same question and he said yes. i brushed the same night. right know your teeth might feel weak but then they will feel stronger so take it easy with the tooth brush.
