My temporary crown was pulled out with dental floss. Can I eat & brush my team normally until I get it glued?

It was amazingly easy to knock this thing out, I barely accidentally pulled down on the floss and it was out. It was also improperly sitting over my nub and it had to be adjusted ... for that kind of money I'm feeling like this dentist isn't on point.

Just want to make sure I'm not doing anything wrong in the interim. Thx.My temporary crown was pulled out with dental floss. Can I eat %26amp; brush my team normally until I get it glued?
temporary crowns do come out easily...they are designed to because the dentist needs to be able to pop it off in order to put the real crown on. You can brush normally on that side but I would avoid eating on that side because you don't want to chip the little ledge where the crown meets your tooth...if you do then your crown won't fit right when it comes back. After you have the temporary put back on it will be ok but just a note, if you are flossing between the temporary push the floss down and then pull it sideways, don't pull it up because there is often a little lip where the temp doesn't quite fit your tooth flushly and it will catch the lip and pull the temp off every time
