Do I need a brush or a narrow toothed comb to backcomb my hair?

My usual wide toothed comb is not doing the trick...Do I need a brush or a narrow toothed comb to backcomb my hair?
Fine tooth comb is used for teasing small parts, to add volume to the crown and top of head, but a brush is used to tease alot of hair. Here are 2 videos demonstrating both:

You need fine toothed comb.
yeah. Wide tooth combs detangle. Use the thin ones to tease.
i would just get a regular hair brush.it brushes good cuz i use one
