What do you brush your dogs teeth with?

i use a little baking sodaWhat do you brush your dogs teeth with?
They have little chew bones that are called greenes and that is what they are made for or they have hard plastic bones that are also made for cleaning dogs teeth. What do you brush your dogs teeth with?
I have all large dogs, so i just give them all a large raw beef knuckle bone once a week. They have all got healthy, clean teeth, so it must work.
Doggy toothpaste! Get them at any petstore
Doggy toothpaste can be found at most stores that have pet supplies (they're in like beef flavor, ect) and you can get these toothbrush things you slip over your finger tip to brush their teeth with. Good for you for brushing your dog's teeth, it's very importaint to keep their teeth clean... they can get decay just like people do.
I have never heard of using baking soda. I use dog toothpaste and a dog tooth brush. Check Pet Stores for these items.
Funny you should mention that, because so do I. I make a paste with it using a CET mouthwash that I get from my vet. Works better than anything else that I've tried. Do NOT use human tooth paste on a dog. The ingredients that make it foam/bubble is dangerous for dogs.

Dog toothpaste can be bought at the petstore/grocery store, but it is unbelievably expensive--more than human toothpaste, and although some of them are flavored for dogs, my dogs don't like any of them. I have a dog with a chronic stomatitis (an auto-immune condition where he is allergic to plaque), so believe me, I have tried everything. Plus, the baking soda slightly shifts the pH to give the mouth a more basic environment which helps to clear up infection.
I use a dog toothpaste - it is ugly and brown, but they love it! I have a finger brush and when I am done brushing, I just let them lick the tiny bristles clean. Just make sure baking soda is okay for them to swallow - dog toothpastes are made to be digestable, unlike human pastes.
